Mirroring and Matching a Powerful Rapport Building Strategy |
|

When we verbally mirror our words and non-verbals serve as a feed-back mechanism to the other person. This technique is so effective that when done with empathy and respect it will amplify the person’s experience. Mirroring/matching is simple to understand; but can be difficult to pull off. It requires getting out of ourselves and entering the other person’s world. It promotes controlling our own brain so we don’t automatically rush into problem-solving, advice-giving and judgement.
You can verbally mirror using the same/similar words, metaphors, vocabulary and thought processes as the other person. Listen for their VAK (Visual/Auditory/Kinesthetic) type and feed it back to them.

The Most Powerful Goal Setting Strategy on the Planet |
|

Do you set goals yet? Did you know that it is estimated only around 5% of people on earth set goals effectively and the other approximately 95% of people work for that 5% of people. Also that just 2% of the world’s population make about 96% of the world’s financial wealth. This isn’t to say the only reason t set goals is for financial gain as we know that the financial and business goals are to support our spiritual goals to live the life of abundance we deserve and give back to the community.
Setting goals and having the discipline to STICK to them is imperative for your success. The problem isn’t that we set goals to high and not achieve them the problem is we set goals to low and DO achieve them. I love the cliché corny “Shoot for the moon and if you miss you reach the stars”. This is a great metaphor to use with goal setting.

The primary step must encompass the basic wants and needs of the person making the decisions, rather than the perceptions and wants of others. Far too many people have become failures because they aspired to fulfill the desires of others. Determining one's own fulfillment is the key to the future planning of one's life focus.
